Florist’s Choice means leaving the flowers themselves to me.

Rather than choosing an exact list of stems, I select the best flowers available that week and create your bouquet around what is looking its freshest, most interesting and most beautiful.

You can absolutely give me a steer. Tell me the colours you love, the general feel you’re after or anything you definitely don’t want, and I’ll take it from there.

Working this way gives me the freedom to use flowers at their best — combining colour, texture, shape and seasonality to create something that feels considered rather than copied from a photograph.

And no, Florist’s Choice doesn’t mean random.

It means designed especially for you.

Why I don't promise exact flowers

Flowers are a natural, seasonal product, which means availability can change from week to week.

Weather, growing conditions, seasonality and what is looking its best at the flower market can all affect what is available.

If you’ve given me a colour palette or particular style, I’ll always work with that in mind. Occasionally, though, I may swap a variety or stem for something I know will look better, last longer or work more beautifully within the finished design.

That little bit of flexibility is what allows me to keep the quality high and create something that feels fresh, individual and very Stem & Style.

How to care for your bouquet

Beautiful flowers deserve a little looking after.

A few simple steps can make a real difference to how long your bouquet lasts and how your flowers open over the days ahead.

Unwrap

Carefully remove the wrapping so your blooms can breathe.

Clean vase

Wash your vase thoroughly before arranging your flowers.

Trim stems

Snip each stem at an angle before placing it in water.

Remove leaves

Remove foliage that would sit below the waterline.

Fresh water

Fill the vase with fresh, room-temperature water and flower food.

Change water

Refresh the water and clean the vase every couple of days.

Keep away from

Keep your bouquet away from direct sun, heat and ripening fruit.

How long should flowers last?

With the right care, fresh flowers can bring beauty to your home for days.

Most fresh-cut flowers will last around 5–10 days with good care, although this varies by variety, season and how open the flowers are when they arrive.

Why some flowers arrive tighter

Some varieties travel best while their petals are still gently closed.

Watch them open over the next few days, revealing their full shape and colour.
